Our Future Is Ancient is a small independent business and each and every reservation is very important to us. Besides putting lots of love, time, and energy into organizing our retreats we also have to make non-recoverable payments in advance to make them happen, so please read our terms and conditions carefully before you book. Thank you!
RESERVATION DEPOSIT
When you sign up for a retreat with us, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 600 USD. Only once we have received your payment your reservation is officially confirmed. By transferring your deposit, you indicate that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions on this page.
THE REMAINDER PAYMENT
Please make sure the remaining payment is on our account no later than 3 days before the retreat starts. We will send you a reminder a week before the final payment date, yet if we do not receive your payment on time, we will make your spot available again and you will forfeit your deposit.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our retreats do not offer refunds of any kind for the retreat 550 EUR deposit. So before signing up, please make sure you can make it. Refunds for the remaining amount depend on when we receive the cancellation. Should you need to cancel with more than 4 weeks until the retreat date, you will be refunded 100% of the total amount (minus the deposit). Should you need to cancel within 4 weeks of the retreat date, 50% of the total amount (minus the deposit) will be refunded. Finally, under no circumstance will there be any refunds given for cancellation requests made within 2 weeks of the retreat date.
COVID POLICY
You do not need vaccination to join our retreats. We adhere to local regulations of the country we are hosting our retreats in and encourage an antigen test before joining to respect the safety of the group. Please check with your government if you are allowed to travel to and from your country. We are not responsible for your additional travel efforts and costs such as COVID tests and quarantining upon return, nor is this a valid cancellation reason.
IN CASE WE MUST CANCEL
If we can not host a retreat and we must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and you will receive a 100% refund. However, we are not accountable for your expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
SORRY, BUT NO EXCEPTIONS
Due to non-recoverable payments that we must make in advance to secure the retreat, exceptions to our policies cannot be made for any reason, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, bad weather, acts of terrorism, illness, pandemics, health conditions, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances such as (but not limited to) strikes, weather circumstances, and missed, delayed or canceled flights, the retreat fees remain non-refundable. If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.
TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE AND OWN RISK
Nobody books a retreat with the intention of canceling it, but 2020 has shown us that unexpected events do occur, so we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Furthermore, you participate in the ceremonies, classes + workshops, and hikes at your own risk and you must employ your own judgment as to which movements, positions, and exercises are appropriate for your level of training, overall physical fitness, and experience as well as mental stability. All participants are required to have health insurance that also covers medical care and transport home if needed. In order to participate in plant medicine ceremonies, we will need you to fill out a detailed questionnaire, inquiring your physical and mental health prior to the retreat.
CONTENT, SOCIAL MEDIA AND COMMERCE
We deeply encourage our guests to unplug and unwind, so that they may fully immerse in the experience. This retreat is meant to invest in your personal life and not for your work/blog/website and any kind of promotion of products, brands, or services. Professional cameras are not allowed during your stay. Please respect the privacy of other guests and do not photograph any other guests unless they have given consent. Any content creation with a commercial background is not allowed. Thank you!
OUR RIGHTS
Our Future Is Ancient reserves the right to remove a participant from the retreat if their behavior is disruptive.
Our Future Is Ancient reserves the right to keep a guest liable if they bring damage to the house or belongings.
Our Future Is Ancient reserves the right to change the program, teachers or team members at all times.
